Semester I
Get to know your new friends, apartment, and city while diving right into courses.
10 Days in NY
Get up close and personal with exceptionally successful business and political leaders while you enjoy the best the Capital of the World has to offer.
Berlin Internship
Put your skills to work at an 8 week internship in one of Berlin's startups or established companies.
Semester II
Increase your knowledge and continue improving your skills with classes and workshops.
London Internship
Get career clarity and experience during an intense 4 week internship at one of London's impressive firms.
Semester III
End the year with introspective workshops to help you apply what you've learned and confidently make decisions about your future.

We work with every student to create a payment structure that works for them. Full year, all-inclusive price: 14,000€ (Price does not cover medical insurance and local transportation costs).

Meet Our Leaders

Rav Noam Miller

Director of Education

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Rav Noam spent nine years studying in Yeshiva in Jerusalem where he received his rabbinical ordination. He uses his diverse passions and wide range of knowledge to bring various Jewish ideas and customs to life.

Shifra Rabinowitz

Director of Jacademy

Originally from Philadelphia, USA, Shifra moved to Berlin to join the Lauder Yeshurun Team. She has a background in Psychotherapy and Organizational Leadership, and has many years of experience working with young adults and helping them to make their mark. Shifra is a vibrant educator, and is passionate about helping others find meaning, growth, and joy in all aspects of their lives. 

Rav Yaakov Rabinowitz

Director of Education

Rav Yaakov Rabinowitz was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He is an ordained rabbi, a licensed psychotherapist, and trained as a chef. He holds a masters degree from New York University and is passionate about helping people find their purpose. In his spare time, Rav Yaakov loves listening to podcasts and audiobooks, and is an avid student of Brazilian Jiujitsu.

Julia Jokel

Program Manager

Julia Jokel is the Program Manager for JAcademy. Her attention to detail and dedication to the wellbeing of the students helps keep the program running smoothly. In her spare time, Julia is an accomplished artist and lover of all forms of creative expression.

Rav Daniel Fabian

Teacher

Rav Daniel Fabian studied biology and was ordained as a rabbi by the Rabbinerseminar zu Berlin. He works as a research assistant at the Nikolaus-Cusanus Chair of the Humboldt University zu Berlin and is completing his doctorate in law as the Dr. Roman Skoblo Fellow. He is also the state rabbi and police rabbi of Saxony-Anhalt and honorary co-chair of Congregation Kahal Adass Yisroel. He lives in Berlin with his wife Daniela and their 5 children.

Miriam Miller

Teacher

Miriam Miller graduated magna cum laude with degrees in Psychology and Education.  As a California native, she tries to bring some sunshine into Berlin, both in the formal classroom, and the many evening classes and learning sessions she conducts.  Miriam uses her humor, depth, and passion in her classes as she sparks connection and meaning in her students.  When not teaching, Miriam can be found dancing around her kitchen with her children or decorating birthday cakes.

Kalina Dobreva

Alumni Coordinator

Kalina was born in Bulgaria and has lived in several different countries. She holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Behavior and Development. Kalina works as Alumni Coordinator for The Ronald S. Lauder Foundation and coordinates programs designed to bring value to the graduates of JAcademy.
